The Heartwood Way
We start by listening — how you'll use the piece, the room it lives in, the look you're after, and your budget. No charge, no obligation.
We sketch options and pull sample boards so you can see and feel the actual grain. You approve the design, the wood, and the price before anything is cut.
Once the design is locked, a deposit reserves your spot on the bench and pays for the lumber. The balance isn't due until the piece is finished.
Your piece is built by hand in our shop — milled, joined, and dry-fit. We'll send progress photos so you can watch it come together.
Sanded through the grits and hand-rubbed with oil or a hard-wax finish that protects the wood while letting you feel every bit of it.
We deliver and place the piece ourselves, walk you through how to care for it, and stand behind every joint for the life of the furniture.
